Hope you're all enjoying the long weekend. I've been traveling for the past few weeks and am now in Asia. I wanted to share some of the best sales during this Labor Day weekend.

I purchased this lace trim cami in black and white at it's full price of $28 and would purchase it again at the full price. It is now only $16 and comes in 6 different colors! I may just order a couple of more.

Now is a great time to stock up on shorts for next summer! There are so many shorts on sale ranging between $14 - $22 (typically $50). I'm wearing a pair of white denim shorts in my typical size (24) - it's thick stretchy material and isn't too short.
I paired it with the same lace cami mentioned above in black.

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Reviews//What I Purchased

It's that time of year again - the annual Nordstrom Anniversary sale.

WHAT IS IT?
This is an annual sale Nordstrom holds - it's where thousands of brand new items are stocked and discounted. The sale runs from July 21to August 6, however Nordstrom allows their credit card holders to shop early (between July 13 - July 20) and if you're a level 4 card holder then you can preview everything before all the other card holders on July 12.

I have been a Nordstrom card holder for 4 years now and have to admit I take advantage of this sale every year.

I stopped by my local Nordstrom after work yesterday during the Early Access Sale. I had been eyeing some items online but wanted to look at the items in person and try them on for sizing/color.

CLOTHING:

BLANK NYC Sued Moto Jacket . This is a thick well constructed suede material. It's great for early/mid fall temperatures in New England and the color is gorgeous. This comes in brown (pictured below), red and a dark grey. I'm wearing a XS - the length and sleeve are perfect on me.

Ruffle Bell Sleeve Blouse. I tried on the XS and absolutely loved the length of this. I purchased this but still debating whether or not to keep them, still not sure if the ruffles are too much. Thoughts? This is currently marked to $31 from $49. These come in a variety of colors and patterns.

Cold Shoulder Blouse. The SA brought me while I was trying on other items. To my surprise, I actually really liked the way it draped. I love the layered draping in the front, however the shirt was a little longer than I liked in the back. This shirt if currently on sale for $29 from $45.

Reviews: Madewell Sale

Lace up flats have been all the rage. I've been wanting to try this trend, but didn't want to spend a lot on such a trendy item. I love the versatility of these shoes! Here are some of my favorite looks (found HERE) - love how they can dress up a casual outfit but can be worn in a work setting as well!

When I was at the mall last week I stumbled upon THESE Inga ace up flats marked down on final sale to $9.99 from $108. I thought someone had mistakenly marked these incorrectly. The sales associate informed me that it was correct, and there was an additional 50% off all sale items. The only pair at the store was size 7, one size too big for me. She called a couple of stores and was able to hunt down the canterbury red color as well as the deep olive color in size 6. She order both for me...I mean at $4.50 a pair, why not?! I ended up purchasing the size 7 for my mom.  So for all 3 pairs, I paid a total of  $13.

Both pairs arrived in the mail after 2 days.

Hello everyone! It was a snowy one in Boston today! We were snowed and worked from home. I'm dreading  the shoveling and drive tomorrow...

Anyways, I'm sharing some recent purchases and major sales!

First off is a gorgeous pair of flats with ankle flats. These have a classic silhouette, but the strap makes them very unique. These are currently available in suede at SAKS for the original price (leather is $100 more), but I stumbled upon these at a local Nordstrom Rack for over 70% off. There is a sparkly version HERE. In case you're interested, these fit true to size, and are very comfortable as they have a light padded foot bed. I cannot wait to take these out when the weather warms up....but there's snow in the forecast all next week =(.

For more weather appropriate accessories. My Sorel winter boots are 50% off, from $145 to only $75 HERE. These are stylish, comfortable, and extremely comfortable. These are my commuting shoes during the wintery months and I have to admit, I've worn them a couple of times in the office when I forgot to bring a change of shoes.  Blanket scarves a must in New England during the winter, and right now, this one is blanket scarf is $29.99.

Can't have enough blanket scarves and hats!
